I became a doula in 2017 and jumped head-first into the role of a volunteer doula at a local hospital. That helped me to gain experience as a doula, getting to know the providers in our area as well as many of the amazing nurses and care staff at our local hospitals. Over the years I’ve met numerous amazing clients, providers and other important resourses in the Northwest Indiana area. Keeping good professional relationships with providers, nurses and staff is a valuable addition to my services and an added benefit for my clients.
